J. Crew Popover Shirt | Club Monaco Sweater | Urban Outfitters Jeans | Aldo Sandals | Forever 21 Bag

Wore this Club Monaco sweater (pretty much every day of the trip, in fact) over a blue pinstripe J. Crew shirt and white jeans for a brisk dinner on the water at Albergo Ristorante Verbano one of the first nights in Italy. Given it was on a secluded island, the restaurant sends a boat to pick you up at your hotel for a serene ride before dropping you off at Isola Superiore. The amazingness (not a word) didn't stop there. The food was probably some of the best of the trip (bold statement) with the freshest seasonal vegetables, rich flavors and interesting combinations of locally sourced specialties. I found this skirt at a nearby vintage store a month ago and it has quickly made it into my work wardrobe rotation this fall. I pinned this fur stole on an old Club Monaco cardigan to jazz it up a little...something I've found myself doing quite a bit lately on various clothing items.

...And here's Saturday's day-to-night look. This Aritzia skirt feels like heaven on and these new Lucky Brand wedges (who even knew they had shoes...really cute shoes, at that) - walked in for hours on end with no complaints. Can't decide which is more comfortable. Overall a very versatile look that was well suited for a long day of fashion fabulous events.

This was my day-look to roam around the city for brunch and to stalk a couple shows last Friday. Speaking of shows, I was a dresser for the first time at last night's Sachika show. Words cannot describe how excited I still am about this (i.e. I hardly slept a wink). It was AMAZING to see how it all works behind the scenes...I was literally so happy I shed tears of pure joy as we waited to send the first batch of models out. Best half day of PTO EVER spent and praying I luck into another one these opportunities the last couple days of Fashion Week.
