Similar to the last couple years, we spent NYE in Illinois at a friend's house for a welcomed low-key celebration. Also like last year, I decided to go with a sparkly skirt (on sale now here!) and dress it down with a more casual top like this J. Crew chambray one. Threw on my Zara booties (similar here) to pull it all together and partied (and maybe even danced like a complete idiot) the night away.

Wore this sparkly little BCBG number to the actual wedding in Stresa, Italy the other week. It reminded me of the sequin J. Crew maxi skirt from a couple seasons ago that I desperately wanted but simply could not justify. Worn here with fuchsia nails & lips and probably my favorite pair of black heels ever. Which were also the only heels I brought on the two-week trip given they go with just about everything. Nevermind the fact that they were only $59.99 (no longer available but I'll keep an eye out for a close substitute).

All that Glitters

I've worn these white jeans every weekend since the start of Spring and don't foresee that changing anytime soon. Paired them here with this sparkly little number that I originally purchased for the holidays (shown first here) but am pleased to still be getting some use out of it months down the road.

Champagne & Merlot

I wore this Champagne & Merlot look to consume copious amounts of...champagne & merlot on New Years Eve. A friend from home had a low key gathering at his house so I paired the sequin skirt with a champagne tee to dress it down a bit and topped it off with merlot colored tights and nails to ring in the New Year. A much-to-fun evening led to a rough Sunday start to 2012 but am confident it's going to be a great one. Happy New Year to all! xo

I wore this outfit for the Christmas Eve celebrations this past weekend. As you can see, a special 'little' diva made a guest appearance in this outfit post as she refused to step out of the photos. Last week's outfit featured a Joe Fresh sweater skirt and after dropping in again this past weekend to pick up some last minute Xmas gifts, I ended up with this sparkly top and white leather skirt. Yes, white leather skirt. If you would have told me a couple years ago I would own a white leather skirt, I would have undoubtedly given you an over-dramatic eye roll (a problem of mine). But let's be honest, a white skirt....that's appropriate for December...what's not to like? I paired it with these navy cable-knit tights, burgundy mary janes and topped with this Zara fur jacket [girls so only $50] to complete this wintery look.
