Hoooey...Sorry (again) for the interruption. Work swooped in and took over my life in a big way the last couple weeks. Hopefully will be back to more normalized posting but can't make any promises because you never know what the new day (and some other deal) may bring. In other news, I'm really sick of cold weather...and tights...and coats, etc. So over it. I've been trying to re-mix items in my wardrobe, like this Urban Outfitters sweatshirt from 4+ years ago and an old leather skirt (similar here), as much as possible to keep from shopping but my patience is wearing thin. Miami in 9 days CANT.COME.FAST.ENOUGH.

Buttoned Up

The buttoned up look has been a trend that I just have not been able to successfully pull off for a while now...until I found this flowy little sleeveless dress at H&M. Out of the clear blue sky it worked so I paired it with a neon bib necklace also from H&M for $9.95 (similar, more sparkly one here I'm also thinking about getting). Sorry for the delay there. A crazy work week followed by some sort of awful flu took me out. To continue on my fashion week outfits, I wore this the Friday of Nemo trudging around the city in arguably one of the worst rain/sleet/snow storms in NYC history. Knew I needed something warm so went with leather pants, a fur coat and these Rag & Bone knock-off booties for the Jason Wu, Helmut Lang and Rag & Bone shows.

$10. Ten...Dollars...for these Rag & Bone knock-offs from Arden B. (Arden B?). Sure I haven't shopped there since sophomore year of college...for those sweet 'going out' tops that really draped nicely around my beer belly. I might be back on the bandwagon (which I will promptly jump off of) considering the price-tag is less than what I spend on lunch every day.
