The invite for last weekend's rehearsal dinner was 'Beach Chic' which I found out a whopping 18 hours before our flight. Beach chic? At a really fancy place. In December. I was at a loss. Therefore I opted for
this flowy little number that seemed equal parts dressy and casual. Paired with light blue accessories to make it 'beachier' and simple black heels (similar
here) that go with everything (because I could only stuff one pair in my carry-on). I didn't stick out like a sore thumb so I'd say it was a success.
