Simple is Better

As you've seen, I love sequins, tutus and bright colors just as much as the next girl...but sometimes simple is better. Navy scarf, army green tank, jeans and air-dried hair thrown up on top of my head all combine for a low-maintenance (and budget) look.

Easter Attire

Light yellow dress & a jean jacket for Easter. Nothing earth-shattering here but I had the time so I took the photos. And as I look back for them, I long for that beach chair I had such a close relationship with last week at this time. I guess this swivel one will have to do for now.

One with the Waves

This skirt reminds me of the beach...so I wore it there. With a neon belt and a head wrap as a bracelet for an extra bit of color. All in all less than $50 invested in this outfit and pretty pleased with it.

Every time post skin-singe, like I did the first day in Miami, a serious case of the chills sets in after that beloved sun sets. Therefore, I was pretty much the only person at the Delano hotel at drinks last week with a sweater AND a jean jacket....yet still freezing (if you know me at all, you'll know this is a rarity). I picked up this Zara purse a couple weeks ago, which I'm kind of obsessed with, and threw it on for an extra pop of color to the otherwise muted tones in this outfit for a night out on the town.

Weekend Update - 4/1/2013

Back from some much needed time off in sunny Florida. Five days of clear blue skies and 72°-78° degree weather were exactly what the doctor ordered....although my dermatologist would likely disagree as my forehead starts to flake off. Had to soak up as much as possible to tide me over until the summer months. Hope you all had a great Easter!
