Wrap it Up

So, probably putting the cart before the horse here. I have all these ideas on how to wrap the gifts I have yet to buy (thank you, Pinterest). Not sure whether I'll go with the more natural look with pine cones and evergreen sprigs, layer burlap/lace doilies/etc....perhaps find or print out some of my favorite Christmas hymns (that you could tea-dye like I did here to give it a more vintage look)....or maybe I'll get crafty with some DIY yarn pom poms and sew sleeves of old/thrifted sweaters for cute wine bottle covers. I don't know. I don't know if I'll have time [Old School]. I will have time to mull it over on my way up to Boston tonight for my best friend's Christmas party. What are your plans this weekend??

{simple elegance}

{layer a variety of pretty ornaments/flowers/sprigs on burlap and lace}

{on old christmas hymn with a simple tweed bow}

{add a cute bow that you crochet yourself...or buy these on Etsy}

{cute diy yarn pom poms}

{cut the sleeves out of an old / thrifted sweater for a DIY wine wrap}

  4. hey, i am not sure how and when i stumbled upon your blog but i decided to check it out and i am glad that i did cause well it rocks and now i am hooked, i really don't know why you don't have 1700 followers instead of 95. i mean its not fair, you have really good style and i find myself being inspired by your outfits. so you should have more fans.
    back to this post. i think that the idea of DIY our christmas ornaments its great, but i am not crafty so i would probably ruin it.
    still i adore the little white boxes. they are so romantic and have an eerlie vintage feeling on them.
